Stevie WonderStevland Haraway Morris (ne Judkins) was born on the 13th of May, 1950. He is known as Stevie Wonder and is considered to be a pioneering musician as well as an influence on musicians from different genres, from rhythm and blues to jazz to soul, gospel to jazz. Wonder was a band of one man that used synthesizers for the creation of electronic music in the 1970s. It revolutionized the R&B genre. He also helped push these genres into the album age, crafting his LPs as cohesive and consistent, in addition to thematically conscious and complex compositions. Blind since the day of his birth, Wonder was a child prodigy, who signed with Motown's Tamla label at the age of 11, which was the time he received the professional name Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's critical acclaim was at its highest during the 1970s. His "classic period" began in 1972 when he released the albums of Music of My Mind and Talking Book, the latter with "Superstition" that is among the most distinctive and well-known recordings of the sound of the Hohner Clavinet keyboard. The Grammy Award for Album of the Years was taken by Innervisions (1973) The Fulfillingness's First Finale (1974) and Fulfillingness's First Finale (1974), and Songs in the Key of Life (1976). He is tied for third with the most Album of the YEAR wins. Wonder is the only artist to have received the award with three consecutive albums. Wonder started his "commercial period" in the late 1980s. Wonder had his greatest hits and highest level of fame. He had also seen an increase in sales of albums, charitable participation, high-profile collaborations
