As part of the investigation into the shooting death of Terrell Sims A man was arrested with being an accessory after the fact of murder. Officers from Columbia Police Department were searching actively for Sims who went missing on Christmas Eve. They detained Taylor Wardlaw to investigate his murder. Officials say that Eddie Brown (30), was indicted as a suspect in the murder. Sims was a 26-year old male, last saw in Columbia on Dec. 20, on Ervin Street. According to the police, his girlfriend Wardlaw identified Sims as missing on Dec. 22. It was reported that the body of Sims was found on Wednesday, near Monticello Road. Naida Ruterford who is the Richland County Coroner confirmed that the body was located. Skip Holbrook, the Chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been charged with murder aswell being a firearm owner in the execution of a violent offense. According to the police report, Sims died after being shot multiple times.
