Shailene WOODLEY is an American actress, activist, and writer. Her fame was boosted by her performance in the role of Alexandra King as a teen addict on The Descendants. In the wake of her stellar performance of The Descendants, she came up with other appearances which showed her capability to portray challenging roles effortlessly. Shailene managed to make her mark in the world of Hollywood early on in her career, which in and of itself is an impressive feat. Her career began in television and commercials, then moved on to Hollywood films. The acting skills she has displayed have won her numerous accolades, such as MTV Movie Awards. People's Choice Awards. as well as Teen Choice Awards. She has also received nominations for other highly important awards like the BAFTA Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Primetime Emmy Awards.
