Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is a Romanian Actress. She made her debut on the huge screen on Sex Traffic by Channel 4, for which the British Academy Television Award was given for the Best Actress. French, German English and Romanian are fluent languages. Her father is a director of the theater at one of Romania's top theater schools. The actress won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 at The Mangalia Young Actor Gala. The award was given to her as a European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. She taught for four seasons at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April, 1978, in Iasi Romania. A performer of Romanian descendance, Anamaria Marinca made her debut on the screen through the Canadian-British TV drama Sex Traffic for which she received the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. Alongside her impressive performance in her debut movie The actress will remember her role in the Romanian film "4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days" which earned her many accolades, among them her the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. Her role as a character in Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film, 4 luni 3 semaines si 2 days (4 months 3 weeks and 2 days) earned her three weeks and a day. Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two other awards, the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was another film where she starred. In 2008 she played Yasim anwar in BBC series The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian Drama Boogie. She later as the role of Irma's German grandmother in Fury that was released in 2014.
