Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before making her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She defeated all her opponents during the opening round. Then, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen who beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as an amateur were damaged. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move to the weight class of Bantamweight following her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities was able to take down McGill as she was able to end her in the third round through TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd failed to meet weight. But, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She defeated Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. The dominance of her continued, and she was able to win a thrilling fight in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger in the opening round and got a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in another rematch in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and the Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within only 16 seconds. in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. Dumont was defeated in a unanimous decision.
